I went through my primary doctor and they referred me to neuropsych. The cognitive testing was around $1000.

Don't go to Tenaurio (sp?) if he's even still practicing (i haven't seen him in 20 years). His "cognitive testing" consisted of "walk the line, touch your nose, here's your script for Concerta."

Which, yea I have ADHD, and so did my dad, but the way he handled it screamed pill factory. So I guess if what you're after is just quick meds with no hassle, go for it. But if you want a doc that will actually pay attention to you and find something that really works for you, go somewhere else.

I did it online at adhdonline.com. The assessment is with a random psychologist but then they connect you with a local doctor for treatment. No real wait time.

The initial assessment was $149, the first treatment session was $199, subsequent ones have been $99

Can confirm any bad comments about Eustasis. I know Burrell gets a lot of bad rap, but I’ve heard good things about it too. I apologize I do not have more information on their pricing/wait time.

Burrell does an EXCELLENT job at adult ADHD evals (most psych evals, really…) unfortunately because they are the best in town & demand is high, their wait is Loooong rt now. Like first apt is out a year on wait time. They do have wait/ cancel lists & move ppl up as much as they can. Also the way they schedule even if you have to wait a year for the initial interview, your testing apt is usually within 1-2 weeks so that’s good at least.

No idea on price- that depends on your insurance often times. If you are paying out of pocket/ cash you might be able to negotiate with them a bit on timing & price, esp. if you are willing to be tested by an intern who is being supervised by a licensed doc.

The assessment was incredibly thorough and I have no doubt it is actually legit. I recommend them on that alone.

My biggest complaint for treatment was it looked like they had a high provider turnover. I started the service right before I unexpectedly moved from another state and the doctor I had initially talked with isn't licensed in MO. I scheduled an appointment with someone here but had to schedule with someone else in the second month because the first was no longer available. In my experience at least, appointments had to be made on a monthly basis and my prescription was set to whatever my chosen pharmacy was to be filled so I was still paying for the medication itself as well.

I brought up ADHD treatment at a recent doctors appointment and am now having it managed through my PCP but I would have continued using ADHD Online had that not been an option.

I have insurance. Whatever your copay for a specialist is. I’d call and ask about payment if you are self pay. It took me about 3 weeks to get in. I was one of the first patients when they formed this clinic. I see them monthly for med refills and a monthly appt with my therapist. Things are going to vary based on how many patients they have and how many providers, etc. call them.
