I’m a huge fan of theirs and I don’t get there near often enough. Glad it’s still doing well.

Yeah, same here. I hardly ever get north of Chestnut or I'd be eating there way more often.

It's been a while since I've been up to that end of town, but from the early '00s when I moved here to the last time I was there, just pre-COVID, they were the best around.

Mine was delicious. Sorry about that.

One thing I noticed was the burnt ends had way too much salt and pepper due to the way they season it. The brisket cut from the same piece of meat was a lot better. If I had only tried the burnt ends I would’ve thought the place was overrated, but the brisket was amazing.

Downvoting people who don’t think crosstown is good is rather strange behavior. I personally didn’t find it that great, limited options for sauce and the portions were small in comparison to other offerings in town. 2/5.

The only downvoted comments are one guy talking about hustle culture and another guy accusing them of microwaving his food. It's okay if you don't enjoy it, but those two aren't adding anything to the discussion, hence the downvotes. I personally am not. Huge fan of Crosstown, but to each their own. They're just not my style of BBQ.

I too hate it when people work hard to serve me.

Bad take.

I mean, I hate that there is a culture that tries to convince people that getting up at 4am and taking cold showers is the key to success…

I liked it better when hustling was getting shit done as fast as you could because you wanted to.

Not because it’s a culture or way of life. Weird world, you guys.

Hustle culture isn't about hustling while you work, hustle culture is about making your whole life about your work and slaving for your job.
