Slick as heck. Drive very slow. Leave a large amount do stopping distance between you and other vehicles if you have to get out, don’t get above like 20 mph.

I had more issues this morning driving to work than driving home. Just take it slow and leave significant amount of stopping distance. I had a few trucks tailgating me because I was obviously under the speed limit.

A fresh update on the roads. I drove from c street to Cox south. C street isn’t great but they definitely put sand down, the side roads I got to glance at on the way in via south national were all white and untouched. National is fair. From sunshine to sunset, it’s poor conditions and then battlefield to primrose, also poor conditions. Any of you working at Cox south, primrose sucks, it looks like they didn’t even try there. But, drive slowly, leave a lot of distance, stay out of the way of big trucks who think they’re invincible and BMW drivers, because you all were douches on the drive today. My ass isn’t that great for you to be riding up on it like that.

I just drove from Primrose to south Campbell and it was pretty slick. (I work right next to target, so I decided to avoid the freeway altogether and just take Primrose.) South Campbell is decent. They were plowing as I drove by. People were being douchebags, I also had a bunch of BMW drivers and pickup trucks zoom around me. Like good for you, but my little Chevy Cruze can’t do that.

Damnit. I live up north and somehow need to get to Campbell south of 60 and then all the way to St Louis for work tomorrow. Fully prepared to just say no.

As of about 7:00 this evening the roads were mostly covered with white crunch, which gives pretty good traction. I didn't have any trouble starting, stopping, or turning. I didn't see any icy spots from 65 and Battlefield to Battlefield and Glenstone, or through any neighborhood back roads. There were no cleared spots either though, but the precipitation on the roads was not difficult to drive on. I-44 is very cleared of precipitation. 65 has "tire lanes" of cleared area, but snow between the lanes and between the tires. I didn't have any trouble driving 50-60 mph or changing lanes, but I took it cautiously. My tires are all-season tires and are in pretty good shape. Front wheel drive Rav4.

If you have decent tires, you should not be nervous about going out in this.
