Just noting for op: they sell it by the slice and it's legit! I used to live in Japan.

Question: is it typically super…eggy tasting? I don’t know what to compare it to other than like the taste of…custard almost?

Yep. It's mostly about the texture.

Okay! I’m allergic to eggs, but can handle them in small quantities, this was surprising. Lol I didn’t hate it! My stomach did, though.

This is the answer. Their little cakes are amazing and my favorite part of going there

Fluffy cheesecake?!?!? Is this anything like the French style whipped cheesecake at Walmart?

I've never had French style whipped cheesecake, but from the photos I can tell you it's nothing like it haha

It's more like a sponge cake that tastes cheesy/milky/custardy than a custardy cheesecake.

A fellow skank?

Edit: for all of those getting upset, this a reference to a podcast I listened to yesterday that mentioned Japanese fluffy cheesecake. I was guessing it wasn’t a coincidence that they talked about the same day as he asked about. The followers of the podcast are called skanks so I was just seeing if he listened

Bro what is with this subreddit and wack-ass people? They were just asking a simple question.

Edit: lol I honestly thought you were actually calling someone a skank for asking a question. This makes more sense!

And the people that hate this town. I’ve got a buddy that is district manager at U-Haul. I’m sure he would make them a great deal on trucks headed one way out of town. UHaul ends up with a ton of extra trucks locally due to all the people moving to r/springfieldMO

Do you understand how much it actually costs, not just financially but in time, energy, and effort to move? Most people can't just uproot their kids and jobs and get out of a place for just the cost of a U-Haul
