Where did you hear that? One of the few things we DO know about the Dodo was that it tasted bad.

I would think a big pigeon would taste like squab. Plus I’ve heard the Dutch can be fussy eaters.

You wanna go mammoth hunting or dodo hunting? It’s not gonna be a question. Mammoth hunting rifles will be developed as soon as one is born.

IIRC the reason dodos are extinct is that it was easy to just walk up to them and kill them. That’s no fun for hunting.
