50ms latency is ginormous on a device like that.

Is it now?

The quest 2 tests between 30 to 60. Sure Intel has tech coming that says it'll get it to 5, but we'll have to see.

Honestly all I would really care about it the price. If it's another $1,500 AR I'm not going to care if it's 2ms.

The display is level with my retina?

No, It’s a display to help you level your retinas. A glorified tilt-sensor.

So excited for the tech to mature a few years later. For now... snooze

I’m very skeptical of this tech, solving for eye strain will take time.

Strong pass, once we get down to PC level latency in a portable there's a chance I won't get sick just putting them on but for now I think it's safer to just wait.

the hell does "retina level display" even mean? Are they trying to compare the clarity of the screens to Apple Retina displays or is something else entirely?

Retina level refers to a pixel density that is close to the max your eyes can see.

You do realize that Apple uses different components for their iPhone from other companies such as Sony and Samsung, right?

I’m an iPhone user but I don’t brush off other companies when they try to innovate. More competition and advancements in emerging tech benefits us all.
