Not undercutting Disney+ because Disney+ doesn't have ads.

Reading the article might have helped....

So, yes. They are undercutting Disney with this price.

Doesn't matter how much cheaper it is when it takes 2-3 "[x] is not on Netflix" messages in the search before actually being able to find something to watch because their third-party content is gone and I can't get invested in any of their first-party content because they have a long-documented history of killing shows after 2 seasons.

There are too many streaming services now. I've weaned myself off of all but 1 paid : Amazon prime video.

I've got it because I'm a prime member anyway.

I'm in the downtown of a city, so I get the 4 networks with an antenna for free. And , tbf, I don't watch TV very much anymore.

Kind of starting about 5 years ago, if I'm in my place and not sleeping, I'm on my gaming PC, or doing house maintenance/cleaning.

TV is just kind of....mehh to me now.

How is it undercutting Disney when it’s ad supported? I haven’t seen ads during Disney shows before.

You will, starting in December, if you want to keep your $7 deal. As mentioned in the article, D+ will increase basic plan prices to $11 and charge the current $7 for their new ad-supported plan
