This is the first time—that I know of—where slave labor was used to build the stadiums, etc. I don’t really give a shit about the petty corruptness, but I draw the line when human rights issues come into play.

If you truly care about human rights how about you criticize your own government while boycotting all other nations that don't respect human rights,

Syrian human rights activists were telling the world to boycott the world cup in Russia but no one listened, even thought the crimes Russia did in syria is not even comparable to whatever Qatar is doing,

Any crime the USA do, you will turn a blind eye on to not be a hypocrite ?! What kind of logic is that ?!

That's exactly what a hypocrite is,

being hypocrite is when you selectively choose when the world should care or not, like they are doing now

So stop acting like you care about human's right, until you stand up for all human's rights.

Don’t mistake caring with passing judgement. I fucking hate my country’s policies, but other than practicing my 1st amendment rights, I am powerless to effect any real change.

  • You can criticize your government and express your feeling about USA policies even if it did not have effect you live in a democratic country, and if you can't even do this then fuck democracy,

  • You could have boycotted russia like you are doing with Qatar,

I don't believe people are boycotting Qatar are doing this because human's rights,because they would have done the same to Russia, it's all politics, western media have been going hard on Qatar as a pressure because of the OPEC+ decision.
