The /s is only used in the cases the sarcasm isn't obvious. Tho seeing it wasn't obvious enough for you, yes they did drop the /s lol.

Obvious to some is not obvious to others - /s is most importantly a disability aide and you shouldn't assume it isn't needed. Also, there are many times where I thought it was obvious someone was being sarcastic and it turned out they weren't.

Always use /s
