I'm cautiously optimistic. Mozilla having a seat at the table is at least a step in the right direction rather than apple and Google just unilaterally doing whatever they want

You know Google is Firefox's biggest benefactor right? They make a good amount of money through commission from sending searches to Google as default.

These three companies make their own browser rendering engine. Microsoft no longer uses its own rendering engine in Edge. Edge is a chromium based browser now.

Why do we need a benchmark? If you're having performance issues with your browser odds are it's on you and you need to upgrade.

Like most browsers are fine and you won't notice a difference in performance and anyone claiming otherwise is lying!
