Didn’t Costco only take Amex before the last 5 years or so?

If I remember right. They've switched a couple times. Whomever gives them the best rates.

Costco where I am will only take Visa, maybe Amex, but definitely not MC.

US Costco only accepts Visa and Canadian Costco only accepts Mastercard. They both dumped Amex a several years ago.

Mexican Costco accepts both visa and Mastercard.. I have never seen Amex anywhere here.

Was it a debit card? They accept any type of debit card, only visa credit cards in the US though.

And, previously, Sam’s Club only took MasterCard and Discover.
