I cannot imagine how difficult it must be for an actor to portray or take part in a retelling of brutality that was inflicted on one’s ancestors in this way. I think it’s important to portray historically accurate depictions of these matters, and I applaud her for her strength in choosing to do it as a way of exposing people who may not be aware, to the realities of the American frontier.

She's my favorite part of the show

In comparison, the other storylines are contrived and needlessly drawn out.

Yeah, even after hearing about Kerry Washington's experience on Django, I always don't think some of those violence scenes especially against children and in lower budget films are that comfortable to film.

I was really hoping that this show doesn't get a second season as this current one has been a chore to sit through.

Yes, I supposed I could do what you suggested.. inasmuch as I like to finish what I started, I think I have had enough.

Wow what a condescending, shitty comment that adds nothing to the conversation. You can tell how defensive fans get when they resort to this

Nope. My comment was none of those things. The person I was responding to said they hoped the show was canceled because they didn’t like watching it. The person had no discussion about why they didn’t like the show.

If someone dislikes a show (that has only aired 7 episodes!) they are watching so much they hope it gets cancelled doesn’t it make sense they should stop watching the show and watch something they enjoy instead ?

What conversation? Whining about a show you don't have to watch getting a second season is not a conversation.

Please elaborate on how you would add to the conversation? What conversation is there to be had when responding to "I dislike this show personally, so I hope it gets cancelled"? What is there to discuss?

>You can tell how defensive fans get when they resort to this

Yes, when you have someone saying "I hate this show so much, I hope it ends," the person saying "you know, why don't you go get invested in something you actually like" is definitely the defensive one. And it especially isn't the person who feels like hating things is such a valid hobby, that they lash out when its validity is questioned.

If there’s someone being condescending here it is definitely you.
