And my god I need season 2 out NOW. I got so invested in that group. The last episode was so exciting. I’m so scared of what they’ll do to them season 2. It’s not like they’ll let them work together again. I wish they didn’t find out what they were doing 😭

You need S2 out now? Think of those who watched when it first dropped. 🙂🙂🙂

I watched all the episodes and still really have no clue what this show is about.

Yes! I'm also very much looking forward to S2 after that great season ending. They were just shooting a bunch of scenes in my town but nothing that would provide any hints at S2. :D

I'm really really really hoping they don't stretch out that last scene and what he shouted to be everyone thinking he was talking about the baby, before the story gets around to what he was really talking about.

I have a feeling they might do that. The confusion could serve as a convenient plot device. And while I really enjoyed it, it had a slow start through the first couple of episodes so, to me at least. So capitalizing on the confusion for an episode or 2 seems like it's right up their alley.

Lol. I also wonder what this whole thing is that they’re doing with these employees? What’s the point of the company?

I was getting some apocalyptic, scifi, margaret atwood, revolutionary type of vibes.

I also thought it was great.

But I think I'm at that point where I don't want to start watching a show until its run is over. "Severance" was the straw that broke the camels bank. They didn't answer any of the central secrets (what are they doing, why are they there, etc) and I'm tired of waiting years for answers.

If we don’t at least watch each season as it comes out the show will be cancelled before they ever get to end it. I’m not gonna start watching a season until all the episodes are available but I can’t expect them to just make seasons and seasons of television for me without showing them some sort of return.

Make sense. But Severance is a hit. And Apple+ will want many seasons. Its safe.

Flip side is something like 1899 on Netflix. They cancelled it after S1. So why invest if they are only going to cancel it. From now on I'll just wait. If its a hit, there will be more seasons. If not, then no reason to watch in first place. Win-win.

It’s a hit because people have been watching it as it’s released. Do you see the flaw in your reasoning?

Its a hit whether I watch it or not. I'm just 1 person. So its a win-win for me irregardless. No flaw in reasoning.

They do the severance thing with the actors themselves?

Unfortunately the science isn't there yet so they simply hit them over the head with a cartoon mallet when they exit or enter a scene. They of course cgi out the large bump and circling birds.
