The way the show ended we never really got to see Selina’s administration. HBO could do a few specials that could show an event from that time, it would be hilarious and would not mess at all with the series finale.

If I recall correctly they said something about Jonah being impeached, during the funeral, we need to see that. Plus I believe the whole cast loved doing the show so it would be very easy for them to say yes. Especially it not being a full season.

I am surprised there aren’t even talks about it. What do you guys think?

I love Veep, but not everything needs to be rebooted and then made mediocre for corporate cash grab. Hopefully they leave it alone.

I would much rather have a new Julia or Armando comedy than rehashing what I already like.

If it can be done properly I don't have a problem with bringing things back.

Also there was a new Armando show that just aired its second season and nobody liked it. The movie Julia did was poorly received too. New isn't necessarily better.

That doesn't mean they should be creatively bankrupt and rehash one thing over and over.

But hey if all you want is corporate bland mediocre stuff there's tons of it around.

OP didn't say bring it back for seven more seasons, they said it might be fun to do a handful of special episodes. Obviously if Julia/Armando had the itch and good ideas too. It doesn't necessarily have to be a cash grab.

I too am wary of how seemingly every new show has to be attached to an existing IP but I don't think a wholesale rejection of that makes sense either, especially when "new" stuff can also be "corporate bland mediocre" as well.
