Season 6 had an incredible story building up with a cliff hanger too. Perhaps they can create a new show or continue it while having Rob fallen into the void. It could be from robs perspective too! Since I guess the episode cutting out the way it did meant it was the end of gumball’s story.

It’s worked great for samurai jack and Scooby doo (Velma); which I actually quite enjoyed! It was a lot more interesting with its story telling, humor, relatable characters, and Easter eggs and fourth wall breaks vs the copy paste Scooby doo’s I couldn’t give a labor about in the past.

I digress. It should be done in its own way of course, however that may be. Gumball’s story telling and humor was GOLDEN, but was always a little limited because it was a kids show. (Not that id want vulgarity and traumatic plots for kids) it just has so much more room for possibility! Even though that’s what made the shot great, I think the audience alway knew there was a bigger lore than the butt jokes and outlandishness. Through a chance like that it could be built upon it!

Idk maybe I’m just nostalgic or venting. But I would pay a whole new subscription service just to see wherever it streams. I grew up with them and they filled in for a lot of my childhood. It would be incredible to see Gumball and Darwin one more time. (butt jokes and all)

TL;DR

I miss the Amazing World of Gumball and I think a reboot or continuation would be really cool just to see them again.

I recommend theodd1sout's Oddballs. It feels very similar to Gumball (thought Gumball was extra meticulous in its "Every character is a metaphor" and Oddballs has a lot of crazy for crazy sakeness)

In my opinion, cartoon shows don’t adapt themselves to older audiences: adults are supposed to grow out of kids content.

That's not good to make kids shows adult. Like should Sesame Street have become more adult and just ended up getting cancelled in a few years?

Ok Sesame Street was for toddlers, the amazing world of gumball was themed to older kids and had a lot of references that only adults would understand. But television isn’t just a show it’s also art and can be remade interpreted, whatever, and why not? Not like a REALLY VULGAR adaptation. But maybe like TV-14 you know.

Ah, fair I find it cool when I do see it happen though but obviously it shouldn’t be done with things like coco melon or paw patrol respectively. But to me regular show and such makes sense

This content lives forever. Kids in the future will need to be able to watch this show to completion while they are still children. If it becomes too adult, you’re basically depriving the whole thing from any future generations who may enjoy it.

Find a different show. I know it’s hard and sad but it’s like a campsite. You gotta leave it nice and tidy for whoever comes after you.

Ever of heard of Ren and Stimpy: Adult Party Cartoon? This is why we shouldn’t turn kids shows into adult shows.
