Never too late to join the group lol.

Sandy was rational, kind, thoughtful and always looked out for Seth and Ryan. Dude is a national treasure

Sandy was awesome. I haven't watched in a while but the only blemish I could think of was when his former love interest shows up (she was on the run) and he lies to and neglects kiki

Sandy yes but he like kinda cheats on his wife? I think? It’s been a while. Does his wife cheat first? I can’t remember.

Kurt's dad from Glee was amazing. Great dad.

Agreed. I started watching The OC back in day because my room mate had a crush on Ryan…

But man, that show was pretty legit, and Sandy was a GREAT dad.

He's such a good dad! The Ryan/Sandy moments are always so nicely done and underplayed.

Sandy: How was home? Ryan: You tell me, I was in Chino heart explodes

He’s just always going for the joke but only if it’s in service of the plot and I just love that . And keeping it light most of the time makes it so much better when sandy gets serious. Like when he helps people out using the law some of his monologues to express how he just bested someone are so damn good.

Good hunour, supportive of both boys no matter what, anti-capitalist most of the time and the most powerful eyebrows in network TV history.

What’s not to love?

Sandy is THE best dad!!!

No need to apologise, you're in The O.C fandom now!

It's still my favourite TV show ever, currently rewatching it with one of my best friends and it's still great! The writing and comedy are brilliant.

Also, for those who may not know, there's a podcast called Welcome To The O.C, bitches where Rachel (Summer) and Melinda (Julie) rewatch all the episodes, it's really really good!! You can find it on YouTube too. :)

Kirsten was going to end up in trouble whether the Sandy/Rebecca thing happened or not. I’m sure that didn’t help though.

He definitely neglects her while not physically cheating. Neither of them cheat but both have chances to. Sandy’s was a tough one because he never got closure with Rebecca. Doesn’t excuse his behavior but it’s realistic.

Yep it definitely wasn’t the root cause, which is why I said contributed. I think if we needed to find a root cause for her alcoholism it would be Caleb marrying Julie Cooper Nickel 😂

And also the Newpsies were a head ache as well.

Well, I mean, Peter Gallagher just seems amazing in everything he’s in. I feel like he was born to be a tv dad actor
