Fuck yeah, Alert!

Good for Accused! The show has some issues, but I think it has some real potential if they can make some minor adjustments to the writing for each story.

Alert, on the other hand, was downright terrible. A lot of bad writing and bad characters, leading to a subpar and very rushed finale. I very likely won't be tuning in to season 2 because I doubt it'll get any better. I don't see them course correcting on their biggest mistakes (making Kemi into a joke, Nikki/Jason's lack of chemistry, the poorly written plot twist, the poor pacing throughout the season, and the infamous "we'll get our babies back" when talking about sometimes grown ass men).

I've been loving Accused, only real issue is that the episodes that are just remakes of the UK show are nowhere near as good as the originals.

The writing in some episodes has been weak and shallow as well.

I really enjoyed Alert!

as much as I didn't like the alert pilot, I did watch the last 2 minutes of every episode until the finale. enough to follow the overarching thing without suffering through the weekly cases and the not really likable main characters. still didn't hold my interest enough to do the same with the last 2 eps.

the uk original of accused was a mixed bag (it's to be expected from an anthology series) but it had some really strong eps, hoping for the same with the remake. it'll have more eps (15) in s1 alone than the uk version altogether (6+4).

Good for Accused! I think the writing is sometimes bad/schlocky, but it’s been pretty good!
