I can totally understand why your interest in BCS would fizzle out during S2. It's a relative low point for the series. But I will say that things pick up after that S3/4/5 are each better than the least and it scratches the ceiling of the best TV ever.

Finish BCS and Mr Robot. You will get to experience two of the best finales ever.

Next should be The Wire and The Sopranos.

Never seen Shameless and I'm not big on TWD but BCS and Mr Robot are worth finishing. Both have "low points" in season 2 but overall are very strong shows with fantastic endings.

The shows are there to be enjoyed. They're not work. So if you're not liking them, go do something else for a while.

Scribble down what episode you are up to and watch it later on. I forget all the time when I watch too many things.

Also, those shows that have recaps are fantastic sometimes!

The Wire was a struggle for me to get through. It's a "slow burn" type of show so you really need to have a lot of patience for it.

most new shows are overrated.....did you ever see Fargo? the first few seasons were really good.......the only newer series I liked was Stranger Things

Sometimes they milk it. Understandably, since everyone wants to keep working. But your burnout might be a result of that, at least in part.

TWD milked it, GoT milked it

Hello from the other side. Once start a series will generally binge it, but can't get that starting momentum.

I think alot of shows start off with a cool premise but can't really deliver.
