I am fairly young and black, and I absolutely love Blue Bloods. According to Nielsen I am a 60yr old white guy...LOL This show is just comfort food.

Grimm, it's so corny, but really fun. It's like if law and order were supernatural.
Succession. I hate every single character on that show... and I binge watch every season anyway.
I loved the first few seasons of Grimm!
Me too! And there was no one to talk about it with.
Mama's Family (an obviously bad '80s sitcom spun off from a Carol Burnett sketch).
But I loved it because it was the only decent thing on when I had to get ready early in the morning before School.
I don’t really believe in the concept of guilty pleasures. If I like something I like it.
That being said, one that I don’t really bring up to people as a grown man is the show Heartland. I woke up to my TV autoplaying it on one of the free channels one night after my PS4 cut itself off and I actually like the girly horse family show lol. Helps that there’s a pretty blonde girl and I’m about the cowboy life, but I’m on to season 3 by now.
I love Mama’s Family! Vicki Lawrence doesn’t get nearly as much love as she should.
My friend was making fun of my Mama’s Family best of DVD a few years back but it’s not my fault I have good taste.
I like Grimm in the same way I find really bad movies enjoyable. There is enough there to see it's a decent show, but anytime the larger mysteries are shown it's clear they're making it up as they go and don't really care too much.
It's hard not to laugh at how they solved the key plot by episode 100 like they wanted.
Nick "I opened the top and found three keys." Monroe "Even though it contradicts our earlier lore about the Royals, the keys we happen to have are enough to deduce the map." Nick "What luck!" -at the place- Nick "Now, we need to find an old place." -randomly falls in a hole- Nick "Wait, I see the Grimm logo! It's here. Oh no, it requires all the keys. I'm going to need all my skill to open this." -smacks it- "Oh my god, we got the treasure and..." To be continued...
I'm not embarrassed about things I like. I'd enjoy, though, an evening of critics' unfavorites consisting of: 7:00 Baywatch 8:00 Beverly Hillbillies 8:30 Big Bang Theory 9:00 The Love Boat 10:00 Charlie's Angels
True, the characters are likeable enough that you can overlook the flaws and enjoy it. The whole eve plotline, then the rush to wrap up weren't great though
I think feeling awkward about going to the movies alone is kind of fair if you happen to like animation and want to go to a "kids'" movie, but otherwise I agree.
90210 was a proper guilty pleasure lol
LYYAAAARRRR! ACTRRRESSS! GETDAFUCKOUT!
This is a very popular prestige show with a lot of credibility that has swept the major awards of the last few years. I’m not sure it counts, despite the unlikable characters. Sopranos and Breaking Bad had characters that were hard to root for too.
The Tim Conway adlibbed elephant monologue for Mama’s Family is one of the funniest comedy bits I’ve seen.
I saw Detective Pikachu by myself. Pokemon Red and Blue came out at exactly the right age for me as a kid.
........I'll defend that? But like, going to see a paw patrol movie by yourself in your 30s would be. Odd.

I'm embarrassed at how invested I was in Davide and Ekin by the end. I may or may not have gotten misty eyed on their final date.
Yep, that's pretty embarrassing.
The Good Doctor. It's super formulaic and sentimental, and I'm not normally into hospital shows at all, but damn if Freddie Highmore's acting doesn't just get me every time.
Also I still haven't given up on The Blacklist after 9 seasons which is an embarrassment.
I still occasionally binge old episodes of VH1’s mid 00’s golden era of reality trash. Flavor of Love, Rock of Love and I Love New York are all modern masterpieces that have only grown better with age
Survivor
True blood
Isn't the question embarrassed to like, not how prestigious who is?
It's still valid to be embarrassed watching people you don't like yet keep coming back even if it's a prestige drama.
Victoria with Jenna Coleman was the sappiest girly teenage fairytale with zero historical authenticity, all things I normally hate, but I'll be damned if I missed one single episode of that
same with Poldark. I was invested to the very end of that barrage of impossibly beautiful people, French jnvasions of England in the form of eight guys, England retaliating by storming France with six men, Poldark working in a mine for like 16 hours a day, go home, tend to the crops, have sex with Demelza and go out at night because something was afoot around the property, cartoon villains, super progressive parliamentary sessions, more bad luck than Wily Coyote and proto James Bond shenanigans
There used to be a bunch of Toddler and Tiaras episodes on Youtube, and I watched every single one I could find. It was morbidly fascinating and horrifying.
The Sex Lives of College Girls, Euphoria, Heartbreak High, The Wilds, Warrior Nun, SkyMed, Star Girl, and The Vampire Diaries
Is it like the OC? I'm currently on episode 9 Season 1. That show seems similar and I may watch it after the OC..
Good Doctor is a great show IMO.
I gave up around season 6
Yeah, I agree that some are less awkward than others. I think pretty any Disney/Pixar movie wouldn't be too bad, and some franchise movies also wouldn't be, but others would be on a case-by-case basis pretty much depending on how childish they looked in terms of content.
I believe that was from a skit on the Carol Burnett show and not from the spin off. But yes that is an incredible scene.
This and Billions. I hate everyone on Billions but I love watching Paul Giamatti chew up the scenery.
Same. I watched season 1 of billions and put it down... kind of the same vibe.
Dude, first and foremost you are not that special. Not only does no one give a shit that you go alone, no one even notices you...
never seen it but they sound similar
