Quick summary. It’s about a former FBI criminal psychologist, Malcom Bright, who was hired by the NYPD to help with cases. Malcom’s father just so happens to be a serial killer, with whom he has a strained relationship. Malcom also has his own issues. Which don’t include murder. His only real ally is his sister Ainsley. She wishes he would take a break from murder and wishes he would unwind in a normal, non concerning way.
I really love this show, but not just because Tom Payne from The Walking Dead played the lead character. I really liked the concept of the child of a serial killer working with the police and the pair having a very complicated relationship. They even had Catherine Zeta-Jones in season two. Her character was genuinely crazy and I really enjoyed watching Catherine portray her. I honestly don’t know why more people didn’t watch it.

This was canceled quite a while ago. I enjoyed it well enough (for a network series, which I rarely watch), but do believe that Covid heavily interfered with its momentum: Very similar circumstances to the 2007 Writes Strike that just murdered Pushing Daisies.
