The point is that you can't be terrible your entire life and then be rewarded for it. He was emotionally rewarded for doing good, but if he was actually rewarded he wouldn't have been doing good at all.

I'm not sure why what Kim did being upsetting is a bad thing, the characters already did way worse.

This seems like a major misread of the finale, favoring the flashy shootout over the actual end of the characters' arcs.

It's not that I misread the finale, I understood it, I just didn't find it 'satisfying,' which was the OPs question.

Horrible people do terrible things and get rewarded everyday, it's not exactly out of the ordinary. Also the 'Upsetting' thing Kim did was suddenly grow a conscience and ruin her life by confessing, which is what made Saul give up his amazing deal to protect her. I would have preferred to see her happy with someone else with some kids running around so that when Saul called her she'd tell him to fuck off.

I wasn't specific because I wanted to avoid spoilers, but yeah. As I said before, answering OPs question, the Lalo thing should have been in the Finale. I would have changed the editing on the flash-forwards, so that the 'flashy shootout' was in the final episode before the ultimate conclusion.

The final scene should have been Jimmy playing tennis with some inside-traders, embezzlers, and ponzi schemers. Then going to his 'cell' and sit in a nice chair in front of a TV with a remote in one hand and a Mint-Chip ice cream cone in the other. The camera pans right in front of him and he licks the cone and points the remote right into the face of the camera to change the channel and then the screen goes black.

that's what I would change. That's just my opinion.
