They’re not the best seasons of the run, but I’d say finish the series. They have their moments.

You mean 8 & 9. They’re still better than most sitcom seasons.

I half way through season 6. And with the news of his departure, i didn't expect it'd affect me this much, but it's the most upsetting thing. He is the soul of this show. His annoyance kept the show alive. I'm literally sobbing even though i haven't watched the episode yet.

First time through? Definitely watch it all, has plenty of funny moments and the finale is one of the best in TV imo - in terms of pay off and resolution. The quality drop is noticeable but not a death sentence.

No, it's not imo. Michael was a huge part of that show.

But he keeps the soul alive. Remember the show when Michael left to start his own paper company during that phase the scenes from Dunder Mifflin were ughh.

I'd say definitely yes but Michael was low on my list of characters. I didn't like some of the storylines but the show was mostly the same. If you find you can't get through it all, at least watch the finale. I feel like that wraps things up well and doesn't rely heavily on the new characters from later seasons.

how could anyone not love michael. You arent a real person.

I don't like cringe comedy and that's a very large part of his character.

8 is worth it in my opinion. 9 is pretty downhil though

I love Robert California so I'd say Season 8 is definitely worth watching. Season 9 is garbage apart from a few episodes including the finale though. It was never as good without Michael but it was still pretty funny (again Season 9 not as much).

I don't think it's worth it after season three.

Well that's not true, I'm on season 6 and season 4 and 5 were hilarious

I enjoyed the finale, but other than that I think it went into pretty steep decline in the course of Season 6.
