I watched the first episode a few weeks ago and was on the fence about continuing. How has it been so far for you, OP?

Not OP and I’ve only seen episodes 1-5 but I’m enjoying it and looking forward to watching each week. I was also on the fence after the first episode. There’s at least one thing every episode that IMO isn’t written or executed well but ultimately I think the rest of the show makes up for them. We’ll see if the back half of the season holds up.

Interesting story concept, the sci-fi aspects are cool, the design of the future is interesting. The pacing is slow though and I'm not sure what it's moving toward. I'm watching it, but I'm on the fence of whether I like it or not.

Solid agreement here, lot of threads to follow and sometimes I get lost. Liking it, though, so far.

It's slow. It's interesting and the action is there but fuck they keep explaining her basic fucking questions of the Future one answer at a time one per episode.

I'm still watching it but it's rough.

I'm enjoying it. I like the slow pace its taking, letting my imagination fill in the blanks. I hope it pays off as much as I'm imagining.

There are several small inconsistencies, but I believe that's just the nature of science fiction especially when dealing with timelines/multi-dimensional stories. Im willing to overlook it in favor of an attempt at an intriguing plot.

There still may be some over arching information that will remedy the inconsistencies though. I guess we'll have to wait to see.

So whatever it was that they stole from the future is stored in Flynnes eye in the past/stub?

All the episode titles are quotes from the episode, I thought the context for this one worked quite well.

Eh people still drive around in 60s/70s trucks today so that isn't that far fetched especially in a small rural town without a lot of money.

There have been problems with drugs in Southern Appalachia in the last several decades. So that's not all that unusual.

She's super pro martial arts in her robot body in future, she can't do any of that in present day.

what?

>I thought the entire point was that she's in full control...how is she able to just pull off all these moves with no training?

Because she is in robot body, I'm confused what do you even mean by all this questions lol

Part of that is explained by tech from the future being seeded into the past. This isn’t what normal 2030 tech was supposed to be. Particularly the military mods and sim tech. The future timeline has imbedded themselves in essentially every major industry and has changed this past significantly.

clunky cw-esque fight scene took this from 5 to 3 1/2 stars real fast but still enjoying it
