My biggest issue with Yellowstone is that it’s a show that doesn’t know what it wants to be. It’s part family drama, part crime drama, part show about life on a ranch, and part political drama. It doesn’t dive deeply into any of those enough for it to be a great show and it meandering back and forth hurts it a lot IMO.

eh I personally enjoy that it has all these vastly different layers to all the drama. I think I would be less interested if it focused in too much on any one particular facet.
