they do have similarities in plot lines/ keeping family business running etc..

But other then that, succession is lot more comedic/city going themed..which I can see why people on reddit find more appealing...

I personally could not finish season 1 of succession, even with all the hype here on this subreddit.

think its just personal preference.. as I found yellowstone more fun to watch, reminded me of growing up in the western US...so, I think its all about preference if you had to choose between the two..
