It feels like there's minimal discussion of this show here. I'm a lifelong Stallone fan, but I'm well aware that when he gets full control, the product isn't always great (but has been).

This show is the perfect amount of Stallone being Stallone while also being restricted by not giving him the reigns.

I went in with low expectations since I wasn't sure if it would just be a tv version of one of his straight to video movies, but I was very satisfied. It's incredibly funny, but not in the stupid marvel quippy way. He's truly a fish out of water and watching the locals deal with this random Scorcese style mobster entering theirives is fun. There's a joke here and there that's obviously something Sly demanded be included, but I'd say they heighten the weird tone the show has.

When I saw it beat the House of Dragons premiere viewership, and was renewed for a second season 3 episodes in, I wasn't surprised. I'm sure there's people who hate this show because their idea of TV is restricted to the one thing they like, but if you're open to pure fun tv, check this out.

I can't wait to see it. I just can't deal with that old format of waiting a whole week to see the next episode, so I just until the whole season is done. I don't know who thought it was a good idea to go back to that.

I heard good things but not sure in which streaming platform this will be on, internationally.

It's quite good, Stallone still got it.

Taylor Sheridan and Terence Winter can do no wrong in my book.

This show is REALLY good. Sly is GREAT. You can tell he's having fun filming it. I LOVE when the actor is having this much fun, you can tell!

It's fun light entertainment, but holy shit none of the how easy things work for Stallone, for just bullying people, make any sense.

It’s definitely entertaining because of big sly but with each passing episode it gets more and more cheesy/cliche.

Yup, pretty glaring. The dispensary owner could have literally called the police. There are so many instances where the plot could have been brought to a dead stop by someone calling the police. He's a lone guy in a new city and a known ex-con.

He's randomly assualting people as a known ex-con. IRL mafia has also grown weaker nowadays and keeps a way lower profile. This sort of "blunt instrument" approach makes no sense.

The cringiest thing I've seen in a while. The tough guy rides into town and he's the king right away.

How many seconds before the sheriff or/and local cowboys show up and send that old ass packing.

Six episodes in I'm enjoying this in a weird "Watch a car crash" way, due to its pseudo-autobiographical nature.

A lot of it boils down to "How Sylvester Stallone thinks the world works if Sylvester Stallone wasn't a rich celebrity actor". It's kind of adorable in its naivety, and most of the acting is serviceable to pretty good.

And don't forget, there is a lot of fun in the script of Tulsa King! It's not meant to be exacting in any accepted societal sense. No more than Tarantino's "Pulp Fiction", or other filmography of this nature. Sheridan's material can be compared, for sure!

I was so shocked by how much I actually liked this show! I look forward to the episodes every week. I thought it was going to just be another typical Stallone movie but chopped up into episodes. It is a typical Stallone role but more than that!

It’s fun but totally ridiculous and makes no sense.
