The OC is one of the worst shows I've ever seen and I have an extremely hard time believing that even fans of the show could unironically make statements like "drama at it's best"

Theres much worse shows than it in fairness but its ok for what it is- a teen soap opera and a little escapism. Agree though that calling it " drama at its best" is beyond bonkers. Its akin to calling shindlers list a comedy.

Its the kind of thing you could have on in the background when you and your mates chat or when you're chilling out,doesn't require much head space or concentration. Hardly compelling television.
