Desus & Mero was the most exciting Late Night talk show since Jon Stewart's Daily Show imo. It was the only one I went out of my way to watch anyway. Shame they broke up, but I hope it inspires studios to try and pivot away from boomer-centric milquetoast mediocrity the genre has languished in for decades now. Conan perhaps being the only exception.

I was legit shocked Desus and Mero called it quits. But I did slow down on watching them after the second season of the showtime slot. It just didn't have the charm of the Vice version.
