For quite a while you could say something very similar about Star Wars.

The only Star Wars films that I legitimately like are the original trilogy. Didn't like the prequel or sequel trilogies.

I've heard great things about Clone Wars & Rebels. I might check those out.

It's in my backlog since the 2020 debut. I'm pushing it to the top of the list. I didn't know until now that it already has 5 seasons.

It also has a Netflix interactive video game that takes place between seasons 2 & 3.

I’m 35. When did people collectively decide that the Lost World wasn’t good in all this time?

Because I loved it since it came out, as did all my friends. I’ve never met anyone in my generation that didn’t like that movie.

I loved the Michael Crichton novel, but I personally wasn't a fan of the film.

I thought the visual effects were astounding, Jeff Goldblum & Julianne Moore gave fantastic performances, & the trailer sequence was awesome. However, it completely lacked the heart of the first film.

Spielberg himself admitted that it was a dud and that he only made the sequel to try to recapture the success of the 1st film.

From the start. No one enjoyed that film.

Edit: No one else except for you

Well it made over 600 million dollars on a 73 million dollar budget, so I don’t think I’m alone on this one.

Also, the rotten tomatoes scores are just above 50% for both critics and audiences, so that means half of all the reviewers who saw it like it.

i mean, things can make money that are bad. see Michael Bay movies. McDonalds. Nestle. Gymastics to kick a raptor is silly at best. the whole T-Rex free in LA stuff at the end felt so tacked-on. I watched it, liked the effects but felt more like a money grab as the first one was FANASTIC. every JP movie since has been a downgrade. great CGI, but horrible story and character motivations.

Jurassic park 3 is pretty good.. Doesn’t try to be anything more than a b level action movie with a level special effects. People didn’t like it at the time, but I think it holds up well.

I personally wasn't a fan, but I'm glad you enjoyed it.

The fact that JP3 focused exclusively on action & not story or character made the movie boring to me.

The writers of Camp Cretaceous took the same premise of Jurassic Park 3 and managed to execute it properly. Unlike JP3, CC spends time developing it's characters.

Absolutely loved it, shame it was marketed a bit more as a kid show. The writing is absolutely stellar, and it's just like the films. Whilst it can be enjoyed by kids, it's got plenty of deaths and dark scenes too.
