The show was a crime procedural under the guise of a school setting with their safety patrol. It was goofy and made fun of a lot of the typical procedural characteristics. If done right, I feel like something like that would be a hit, possibly comedy gold.

Anyone remember that show? Thoughts?

Just hope they don't kiddify it if the do. They should keep it dry. Real dry.

I agree, or a series reboot. I think it could do really well as an young adult/adult cartoon show.

I think it would work, just like I think Recess, Pepper Ann, Weekenders, and several other cartoons from that era would work, but I don't think Fillmore has enough nostalgia to bring back like that.

Donald glover as Fillmore. Can’t think of a more perfect casting.

And Anthony Hopkins as Randall the Vandal

Ignore everything about the ages, just roll with it.

Honestly not ready for one of my favorite cartoons to be campaigned against for being “too woke” simply because it stars a black and female student.

Fillmore was a love letter to the Quinn Martin family of crime dramas from the 70's. Series creator Scott Gimple moved on to working on the adaptation of The Walking Dead, and since that's now over, maybe he'd be open to reviving Fillmore. The trick is finding the right actors to play the parts. The series marked its 20th anniversary back in September, not acknowledged by Disney.

They revived the Proud Family, which preceded Fillmore by a year, but won't put Fillmore on the Disney+ schedule? What's up with that? Total disrespect, yo'!

Disney should NOT do this. They should focus on making content that is of IPs that aren't previously established as part of their collection, not making derivatives of content they own.

I watched Filmore on TV when I was younger.

I’d be worried that the live-action version would take away the “cool” factor that the og show had, since it was one of the few shows that appealed to both younger and older crowds and it wasn’t super cheesy. I’d love to see some kind of reboot of the animated series though, maybe even Fillmore and Ingrid in high school. It was my absolute favorite show when I was growing up.

Disney+ needs to do a quality control before doing anything more. Pretty much every big show they've put out with the exception of Andor has had sloppy work.

they did a kim possible live action a few years ago and it was so awful that people just refuse to acknowledge its existence. i feel fillmore would suffer the same fate
