Players was hilarious. Wish they could’ve kept their deal with Netflix so it could’ve had more exposure to mainstream audiences. For someone that knows nothing about eSports but enough about Sports documentaries, it was as pitch perfect as you’d expect from the creators of American Vandal.

I do not play League, I tried a decade ago, but Players was my favorite show this year. Main reason is that, and my impression is American Vandal did the same, Players is really about individuals who are trying to achieve greatness in their field and what drives them. It just happens to be about gamers.

I second this. Players was an absolute sleeper hit for me. I watched everything else and just put this on and it was glorious fun.

I’ve played league for years. Used to watch the LCS and Worlds all night with friends like it was the Super Bowl.

Players was hilarious and spot on.
