Loved him in every role I saw him in...he owned every single scene he was in! The first time I saw him was in Tron as Sark, or possibly as the Ultimate Evil in Time Bandits (he was the perfect choice for that role!), and probably the most memorable performance to me was his role as Gul Madred from Star Trek: TNG. (you can see my taste runs to genre films and TV!)

Looking at his IMDB listing, it's amazing the volume of work he did...including quite a few voice acting roles! He will be missed.

I love that performance so much. Him and Stewart acting opposite one another was a masterclass.

I best remember him as Gul Madred as well, and Jon Irenicus in Baldur's Gate 2, but another really special role he played to me was Aldous Gajic in the Season 1 episode "Grail" of Babylon 5.

I had forgotten about that one! Yes, he was excellent in that role as well...and I loved his speech about how the Quest to find the Grail was more important than actually finding it. Good stuff!

The dialog between him and Patric Stewart is my favorite in the entire series. “I was completely unprepared for the power she would have over me from the moment she was born” sums up fatherhood exactly.
