Pretty obvious that they are just going to do normal games for this show. I wouldn't expect anything worse than the occasional twisted ankle.

It's more the case that they were doing it outdoors in freezing-cold temperatures, rather than anything to do with the game itself.

Even then I would not expect any real major injuries. After all, children play games like this in freezing temperatures all the time.

Depends on the activity. If it is soccer, then yeah, you can play in the cold for a while, but just standing around and playing simple games like this, you go inside after an hour at most. It sounds like there was a lot of down time during the red light green light game, which means not much movement in freezing weather.
