It's -7F here so I am trying whatever. Loved Neil Gaiman's version of him though. Show intro and execution is meh.
Animal Kingdom has an obnoxious song and really tryhard visuals. Good show though.

While I liked From as a show and I didn’t hate the intro, I usually skipped it because it felt too long and it looked really generic. Nice song though.
The Shield. It comes on quickly out of nowhere and is obnoxiously LOUD.
I hate the intro music for Peep Show, despite it being my favourite comedy ever. Though it is the exact sort of shit they would like.

Considering that series is high on my recommendations list, I can't remember the theme music. I wonder if it's because I binge watched it on DVD and likely skipped the credits?
Better Call Saul. Almost by intention though. I understand why the music cuts off early but I still hate it lol.
Happy Valley. The Jake Bugg song is good but it's not a good fit for the show. It's like they just heard the lyrics and went with it without thinking about whether it will match the tone. It's too upbeat and a better fit for a comedy series. You'll watch someone die and it will cut to this song. It's quite jarring.

I always tried to keep my remote in hand while bingeing, but sometimes I'd get absorbed in the first scene and get so startled I'd drop the remote. I feel like it's pretty memorable!!
I don't know who in their right mind would listen to an hour of this, but maybe it'll ring a bell?

I just watched S3E5 and the theme song never warmed up to me either.

It punishes you so hard if you're not ready with the remote to skip it. Worst genre of music of all time.
It's only like 10 or 15 seconds long. Easy to miss.

Yep, that's all it is, and while it's nothing special...I thought it was fine. Nothing to hate on, surely. I guess OP doesn't agree, but that's fine. People can have different tastes and opinions.
I really don't have any show intros that I "hate" or think are "the worst"; there are a small handful that are never-skips because they are so good. The rest are easily eligible to be skipped after a while because you get tired of them. Even the opening to "The Facts Of Life" can wear you down after a while, lol.
Just to make it seem more crappy and low budget I think, like one of Saul's adverts.
Now see, I never skip that one. I sing along with it. I put a copy of the full song on my iPhone along with other theme songs (True Blood, Roswell, Smallville, etc.) so I can enjoy it once in a while as I'm driving around. Everybody's taste in music can be different, though.
Oh okay. I wasn't a big fan of the intro, but over time it grew on me.

Never skipped it either. Didn’t/don’t necessarily like it, but it was tradition to begin the whiskey drinking with the opening three beats

To me The Americans intro song is very forgettable. One of the few shows I skipped the intro most of the time.

They changed the theme tune to silent witness a few years ago, since the change I always skip it, it’s horrendous
