Looking at who produces it which includes an Israeli company I wonder if it gets subsidies by the Israeli government for home grown production.
That may make it cheap enough to use as filler.
Because lets be honest all network shows are filler when not airing the NFL.

That doesn't change much if the effects or post production is done elsewhere. Live shooting is a tiny part of production especially for modern shows.

I tried. Really I did. Usually a sci-fi drama ish show like this would be right in my wheelhouse. I gave up a couple of episodes in to season 2. It was just so bad. Character motivations didn’t make any sense. It took forever for anything to happen. It was just bad all around.

TVLine's article says it's only been renewed for a six-episode Season 3, with the possibility of adding more episodes.
As they bumped it up to 14 for Season 2, and now shrinking it down for Season 3, makes me assume this could be on the way out.
I hope they give it a proper ending, rather than holding out on the hopes for a Season 4.

Yep, they really wrote and performed that line in season 1! It’s a terribad show & yes, I am absolutely hatewatching it! lol
