If you want to have a discussion about it, it may be a good idea to have some kind of summary of what it’s about

even if someone has seen it, they wouldn’t know what season and episode number it was, so a summary would jog their memory

I agree, I watch it if I catch it on TV, its always entertaining but there is too many for me to keep up to date on it or know which season / episode it came from

the consensus around here is that it hasn't been good for a while but i still love this show. they seem to have a few misses each season but it hits more often than not and when it does its as good as it ever was.

in particular i love what theyve done with Chris and Meg, two characters i couldnt stand in the early seasons. Brian + Stewie are still great together and every time Joe talks i cant help but laugh.

Actually the oppoosite, it was written by a long time writer Brian Iles. He wrote a lot of episodes in the late 2000's and I think has written some of the best episodes in the second half of the shows run.

I've watched Family Guy weekly since pretty much it's second revival and while I think the decline in quality happened later than most people say, there was a real decline in quality. I think about 3 or 4 years ago it got pretty bad. But these last two seasons have been pretty good.

Since it’s been syndicated for as long as it has I would occasionally catch an episode on tbs or fx that I found pretty funny. Like most, I dropped the show ~20ish so years back, but will admit somewhere around S16/17+ it found it’s third (fourth?) wind and had a somewhat crisp feel to it.

Towards the end of staying in all the time I realized I had 3 shows set on my dvr and it was the Sunday night fox lineup (Simpsons/Bob/Family Guy). In my 30’s 😅. Too bad they didn’t find a show that could fill the gap between BB and FG.

Haven’t watched in a while but did enjoy the nostalgia viewing for a while, and still love BB.

The violence part is what I noticed when it changed. It became more predictable imo. "Oh, they are gonna get shot and lose an arm" is so often its not catchy anymore. That was a reason I liked this episode. Clever, funny references, well done. Whoever did this video obviously gets it

I think S21E04 was on par with earlier much funnier seasons. But this season it's being pretty meh.
