Well damn.

Shouts out to her roles in American Graffiti and The Conversation. People tend to only think of her in terms of Laverne & Shirley because of how huge that show was, and how key she was to its success, and it's led to a lot of people forgetting that in the early-to-mid 70s she was instrumental in helping people like George Lucas and Francis Ford Coppola make some of the best films of their careers.

Really nice how you saw the whole, talented, and iconic person and their impact on other careers.

Laverne, Shirley, Squiggy, and the Big Ragoo have all passed on, and Lenny's jacket is now sadly accurate.

So just Lenny and Carmine left?

No. He died in 2021.. I think it’s just the Fonz and Lenny. But Fonzie was just a small recurring character. Not a regular.

Her and Penny Marshall both died at 75.

I've only recently come to appreciate L&S but the pair of them were so good on it. One of the great TV duos.

Great talent elevates things to a new level. It’s a simple show, but the entire ensemble turned it into something special.

Which is amazing considering they supposedly did not get along at all on set.

RIP Cindy Williams.

Laverne and Shirley was a huge hit. So big, they made a Saturday morning cartoon out of it.

Only 7 sitcoms have been #1 in the annual Nielsens two or more times: All in the Family (5 times), The Cosby Show (5), I Love Lucy (4), The Beverly Hillbillies (2), Laverne & Shirley (2), Seinfeld (2), and The Big Bang Theory (2).

My cousins are about 5-7 years older than me and when we were kids, they used to always watch a bunch of 70s shows that aired regularly as reruns in the 90s. A few of those shows were Happy Days, Laverne and Shirley and Three’s Company. I can’t say I loved watching any of those shows but I still have nostalgia and fond memories when I think of them.

RIP to Cindy. I recently learned that she still had Boo Boo Kitty (in her lingerie drawer - in an interview, she mentioned that he fit in there, and it was a nice, soft bed for him). I wonder if he's gonna be buried with her, or if he gets passed down to someone in the family?

I loved L&S, but I remember good ol' BBK most of all.

She also played the mom in Dweezil Zappa's short-lived CBS sitcom, 'A Normal Life,' alongside Max Gail as the dad...

By complete random coincidence, I just happened to see an old late 79s Johnny Carson episode with her as a guest. She hadn’t crossed my mind more than a handful of times in my life and a day later this news hits.

I know it’s kind of an observer bias phenomenon when this happens, but it still blows my mind when it does.
