Thank u. It does suck. But i did learn what love felt like. I dont even have love for my family or animals, she was the first i ever had that feeling for. Im just scared i wont findbl that again given it took 20 years to feel it the first time towards litterally anyone

Maybe try to figure out why you don’t have those feelings for anyone else? Now that you know it is possible for you to feel that way, it might be that those people have hurt you in ways that are incompatible with love. And that doesn’t have to do with you being broken or incomplete or missing something that others have, it has to do with troubled people not knowing how to appreciate and love you in the way you deserve. It might be the situation/location/the people you are around, so maybe changing those around would help you?
I definitely know that feeling. It took me a really long time to find people I connected with, and when they left, it left a hole in my life that is very hard to fill. I’ve found some things that help, hobbies, spending time with friends, and my pets. But it’s still lonely at times. I found a therapist and that’s been helping. I have hope that my life will be different than what it is like now. Things can be different. For both of us :)

From what I can understand, you still have some soul searching and self discovery to take on before you jump into a relationship. And for some friendly advice - don’t start off meeting people by telling them all your flaws. It’s a buzzkill, and basically sets up any friendship/relationship for failure. Let people figure you out on their own, and vice versa.
Also, break this up into some paragraphs, easy to lose track of the story.

Not the most interesting read. If you’re going to tell this story try liven it up a bit. Perhaps do some big romantic gesture or try her sister or something idk. Boring life honestly

First loves ending is always the worst! It took me years to fully get over my first love. But hey, you learned what love is! That’s awesome! Took me until college to really understand the love feeling. So this is the start of learning about yourself. :)
