The entertainment and restaurant part of your spiel was a joke, right? The lack of diversity part? D.C. is the most diverse place in America and yes, it's as diverse as NYC, if not more. I'm not trying to beat you up for dissing D.C., to each his own, as the youths say, but come on man! Inside the beltway isn't for everyone. The neverending choices of food and entertainment alone places D.C. in the same league of every major city in the world because every city/country in the world is represented in...D.C. that alone totally cancels your lack of diversity take. Get out and explore the place. Every quadrant is unique.
