I would throw it out, personally. I hate doing that but :( if it's going to hurt the patient, it's not worth saving.

Yeah. I don't want to poison myself. But I'm just so fucking sad, i sat for 6 hours patiently checking every 15 minutes, stirring again and again and making sure my absent minded dumbass wouldn't fuck anything up only to make it perfectly and then fuck it up at the very end :(

That's why I use a Sous Vide. It sits in a Mason jar, and the water moves, so it does agitate it somewhat constantly, and I don't have to worry about running out of water.
