Keep a knife with you at all times. That way next time you see some jagoffs like this, you wait until they get to their getaway vehicle then slash their tires.

That goes from an arguable self-defense case, to property damage. In the couple of fights I've been in the past, I never needed a weapon.

To be honest, if you’d pulled out a weapon you’d probably be much worse off than a broken finger.
Very little good ever comes from escalating a situation, who knows what sort of weapons the other guys could’ve pulled out.

Not trying to break your balls. Ita easy for me to sit back and say what I would've done. But, I live in a pretty rough city where crime is rampant, so my response prob deviates from the norm.
