I was with my ex “Ali” for ca 7 years. Towards the end it was obvious it wasn’t working- we wanted different things and had different goals. I met someone else and we split up. She was upset, it didn’t end that well and there was a lot of conflict about our house etc. We’ve not really had any contact since (we weren’t married and didn’t have kids).
I am still with my new partner and I found out that she met someone else (the brother of her best friend’s partner) so she got over me fairly quickly.
Some background: Ali was small, slim and had a small chest, which she was self conscious about. When we were together I had suggested she got a boob job (for her own confidence) but she was totally against it.
We met up again yesterday at a mutual friend’s wedding. She looked amazing and her breasts were definitely bigger than when we were together. Tbh I kept staring but also felt a bit annoyed that she’d actually had the enlargement for someone else.
This is where I FU. I had too much to drink and decided to ask her about it. She denied she had a boob job and we argued. Other people were looking. My wife was looking. The best friend, bf and brother started to approach. Then she told me she was pregnant, it was early days and she hadn’t wanted to tell anyone, especially not at a wedding. Then she cried.
The groom asked me to leave.
I did have a lot to drink so can’t remember exactly what I said to her but everyone now thinks I’m a total bastard and my partner is being really short with me, so I think it probably wasn’t great.
TL;DR I thought my ex had got a boob job and accidentally outed her pregnancy at someone else’s wedding.
