For context in my early years, I was a full-service sex worker which is legal where I live (UK). Clients would come to my place and text me when they had arrived but my apartment needed a code to get inside so for privacy reasons, I would come downstairs to let clients in as I wasn't about to give them access to my flat at any stupid hour. This happened a few years ago but it's my favorite story from those escapades.
For meets, I dressed reasonably formally and only a little slutty, so as to stay discreet. Anyways my client for the hour texted to say they were outside but that they were lost. Never hard for me to spot a confused-looking man bumbling about outside as how many lost men can there be in 1 apartment block? I rang to direct him to my door so I could let him in, spot said lost-looking man on the phone, we then spot each other and gestured with our hands pointing at our phones 'oh is that you?' and both hang up the call to greet each other.
We small talk our way into my apartment, then the client's small talk becomes oddly too interested in my home. I'm used to clients saying things like ‘nice place’, ‘what is the rent on this place?’ etc so I don't find it too strange, I guide him through the hallway, past my roommate's room, and into my bedroom.
Now it is just us I turn flirty although he’s still asking about how many bedrooms it is, about the kitchen, etc. I met some strange people, so although the volume seemed odd, I assumed he was nervous. I sit down on the bed but I always get the money first before anything happens, even a peck on the cheek, so I prompt the payment. A look of shock comes across his face, It suddenly dawns on him and eventually me that I am not his estate agent and he is not my client! He pretty much ran out of there. Although I'm mortified, my roommate overheard the conversation and we are in hysterics laughing after he went. Poor guy 😅 I don't know if he ended up renting there but I'm assuming not.
TLDR; I mixed up a paid sex client with a random man coming to view one of the apartments in my block, took him into my bedroom, and asked for payment.
