I thought you were going to tell us you accidentally deleted the wrong video but nope. Still waiting for the point.

This is neither a fuckup nor troublesome

All I see is a guy who is honest.

That's... Fine? Not really a fuckup, a Taxi on a public road is pretty much the definition of public space and by the sounds of it the video didn't even include anything untowards, like....

No, that's fine, you didn't even really need to tell her, let alone have this weird feeling of guilt because you accidentally got a few seconds of video on your phone.

So the fuck up is you informing and only getting an "Alright" back instead of some rage? Or is it considered a fuck up nowadays to have your phone open doing stuff without you knowing? (Recently send a text containig almost the whole keyboard to some preinstalled services on the simcard) Maybe you are interpreting too much into this - are there feelings involved or do I missunderstand this?

This is like killing an ant during recess and expecting to get expelled from school as a punishment.

…Dude, you may have fucked up a little bit. But you showed your friend that you respect her immensely by informing her that you accidentally recorded her and deleted it. You turned a fuck up into what could have been an incredible moment to your friend. Maybe you should talk to her about the guilt you feel.
