Yeah that’s a fuck up all round.

I hope Jina was able to find help and support for what she went through.

You definitely should have alerted the authorities straight away while the bruises were evident. A huge FU on your behalf I'm afraid.

Well, at least now you knows that "scolding" a student for showing the scars and bruises caused by abuse is an unfortunate way to deal with this situation. I hope you can sleep better at night knowing that next time u will do better and use your teaching powers to protect and support ur students. After all, we don't want South Korea to start calling it "The Land of Inadequately Trained English Teachers," do we?

How come you just forgot about the kid who told you about being attacked by another teacher? I would be thinking about it all the time probably

You scolded her? She was showing you bruises, not her chest. And you somehow forgot this for an entire week?

I don't buy it. You knew you were leaving, and you didn't want to deal with the investigation. You didn't just fail her, you're a monster only slightly better than the man who attacked her.

I’m glad you’re having trouble sleeping. I hope you never sleep soundly again. You failed her in the worst possible way.
