Its intended purposes are for hard surfaces, not direct exposure to broken, open wounds on your body. It is moreso meant as a surface cleaner/disinfectant because it can damage and slow down progress of healing wounds. I wouldnt even use a diluted version on myself tbh. Especially not if the kind youre using is the white, thicker, cream-liquid version of peroxide since that is designed specifically for hair, its why stylists check your head for cuts or marks before colouring because it can result in a chemical burn, which ive seen get really nasty. We use 1.5% when toning hair so it really fucks me up seeing stuff about diluting 2-6% in a 1:10 ratio for fkn mouthwash. Goes against all my training lol

You can use better more gentle things that are specifically designed for direct application imo. Again im biased since i was trained to use it with hair and they drill into you the effects of it, so id have a hard time being convinced otherwise regardless 😅
