I will preface this by saying that I drive a pretty small car. This will become relevant later.

Ok so I'm driving to work this morning and I wanted to get there a bit early so I could finish up something that's due by 8 am. I get to the point in my journey just before turning onto the highway where there's a right hand turn (you can turn right on a red). There's one person in front of me so I can't turn right, but oh well.

Light turns green, I'm like "Yes! Finally!" but the person doesn't move. It looked like they were blocking our advance to let a bunch of people in the opposite direction turn left. Livid, I decide this person is a goddamn idiot who doesn't understand right of way. I start by flashing my brights, hoping this clues them in. They don't move, people are turning left opposite us still, I'm like "jesus, this person just wants to wait until they've all turned left! Altruistic, but that's not how you drive goddamnit" so I honk and start gesticulating. I'm that asshole waving the hands in your rearview mirror, honking, flashing brights, screaming at this person that they're a fucking idiot who doesn't know how to drive.

Finally, they advance a bit and I lay on the horn to punish them for their foolishness. As I turn right onto the highway, I notice the street after the intersection in front of them is completely full. If they had advanced, they would have blocked the intersection completely. I hadn't been able to see in front of them due to my shrimpy little Subaru Impreza. I'm now writing this instead of doing the work that's due at 8 because I need to purge my shame.

TL;DR I raged at a person for not advancing through the intersection when there was no room for them to advance. I'm that dickhead driver that ruins your day. I'm sorry.
