Hi, friend! I'm hoping I can make you feel a little better, so I did a little research! The green in potatoes is chlorophyll (which is why it's important to store your taters somewhere cool and dark) and chlorophyll can mean that there's a compound called solanine. But fear not! You'd have to ingest A LOT of spuds for any kind of solanine toxicity to really harm you. A good idea would be to cut the green parts of the potato off and, most importantly: if it's bitter, don't eat it!

You're gonna be just fine, palski! I know how awful anxiety can be, so I hope this helps just a little!

Here's an article I found: https://www.tasteofhome.com/article/can-you-eat-green-potatoes/

I'm super happy to hear that! Take care, my friend! Be sure to drink some water and try to get plenty of sleep! Managing anxiety is super hard, but I'm rooting for you! You got this!
