You had frequent urges to pee at a few weeks pregnant?

Yeah the hormone changes can make you feel the need to pee more frequently (progesterone I think?). I needed to pee constantly for the first 8 weeks, then it calmed down a bit. Until the fetuses got big enough to put physical pressure on my bladder.
Some women experience this within their regular menstrual cycle too. I often get what call perma-pee around my ovulation - it's where you basically constantly feel like you need to pee, despite having just gone.

Oh god I get that a lot too, my doctor told me that stimulants (like the ones I take for my ADHD) can often cause “bladder spasms” which can make it feel like you have to pee when you don’t actually have to pee.

I pee more when I take my adhd meds because they make me feel warmer and I actually remember to drink water

It happens early because of an increase in kidney function. Later it’s cause by not having any room in your body for your bladder.

Extra hormone production can increase urination, with or without a fetus pushing on the bladder.
