People always talk about eating and drinking better. For me personally that never helped, I'd often only use the restroom once or twice a week. Even laxitives would take 2-3days to get through my system.

Then I realise the year is almost up and I haven't met my new years resolution and started running every second day my diet is worse because of all the Christmas parties but I think my gut bouncing up and down has given my digestion a real kick into high gear.

I have never been more regular.

Sounds like you're experiencing a version of runner's poops. I used to run about 10 miles 5 times a week (lol couldn't catch me doing that now) and I swear every time I'd get to a point in my run and would need to poop so bad, it's apparently pretty common in the running community
